hi, i downloaded a video in private browsing mode. it was visible in the downloads folder during download but after the download finished, it was lost

during download the file was visible in the downloads folder but once the download completed the file was no where to be found. where could it have been moved to.

Of course that file is gone from the Downloads Manager when you're using Private Browsing, where "history" is held in RAM and deleted when Firefox is closed. But that doesn't delete the actual file that was downloaded; that file is either in the TEMP folder in Windows or where you specify your downloads to be saved, if you changed from the default /Downloads/ folder in that Logon User Account in Windows. Look for that video file in those two locations on your hard drive.
