Since Yahoo suddenly won't allow my wife's Tbird to continue to run, although it handles my account from the same computer very well, I am trying to shift to using a gmail account with Tbird. I can't load the gmail account name onto Tbird 38 or 45 because they are preset to autoconfigure with Yahoo. How can I run gmail with Tbird?

Really want to stay with Tbird.

have you enabled less secure apps on the yahoo site for your wife? I suggest you do.

On the toolbar > New and click on the > to display the sub menu. Select existing mail account from the menu and add you google account. Note there is no limit to the number of mail accounts or providers you can have. I have some 20 mail accounts configured at any one time.
