I work mainly with email marketing. It is much easier to send a draft of a clients email to myself to forward on with a msg then using our email marketing software. The problem with this is that I am sending visual content that needs to look a specific way. Thunderbird is automatically changing my link colors when trying to forward the msg to a client. I have tried changing 'Override the colors specified by the content with my selections above' to NEVER change them and it does not appear to be working. I just want to know how I can turn off Thunderbird auto link colors so I can send the emails I design with all colors and links looking as they should when I receive the email. (I am also noting that I have not clicked on the links as I know that changes the color, but it is changing them when I forward them anyway. Any idea's on how to turn this off?

you say it is specified in content. have you checked the HTML source to confirm the tag is actually there? IIRC a CSS declaration is not enough in this instance.
