Why can't I download jpg or png files anymore?
I had to reset Firefox and now I can't download jpg or png files. It just opens them in a new window and I want to be able to download them like pdf and other files. It won't list in Application list on options. Someone help.

I can't think of a way to force Firefox to download PNG and JPG images instead of handling them directly -- just as Firefox likes to handle Text and HTML files directly.
Some methods to save the images would include:
- right-click the image > Save Image As
- if it's a link to an image: right-click the link > Save Link As
Or if the image already opened in its own tab:
- right-click the image > Save Image As
- Ctrl+s ("Save Page As" but if it's the image itself, same as Save Image As)
I want to be able to download with out right clicking.

By doing what? What would you want to do instead of right-clicking?
One built-in method of saving images from a page is to use the Media list in the Page Info dialog. You can open that using either:
- right-click a blank area of the page and choose View Page Info > Media
- (menu bar) Tools menu > Page Info > Media
A list of all the media files Firefox has loaded into the page should appear in the box. When you click a file name, a preview image should appear. If you want that one, click the Save As button. Repeat as needed. You might also be to multi-select files to save all in one step by Ctrl+clicking files in the list.
But that's not super-convenient, is it.
Over the years, a lot of add-ons have been created for working with images. Here's one you might find handy: Double-click Image Downloader -- I haven't tried it myself.
There is also the browser.altClickSave pref that when set to true can be used to hold Alt and left-click a link to save this link.
You can open the about:config page via the location/address bar. You can accept the warning and click "I'll be careful" to continue.
