I was using stumbleupon, and the stumble took me to a site that keeps trying to make me buy what I am guessing is ransomware, and I wish to report it. How do I report an attack site?

This should be reported to Stumbleupon I think 1st. http://help.stumbleupon.com/customer/en/portal/articles/665219-report-abuse

Most Anti-virus firewall programs have a place to report that. The info needed for that would be in your firewall logs which can also use below .

If you have the URL can do a whois search and find the numerical address . ie 143.127.43.98 that will give you enough information to if not found in the whois of your choice to try arin.net which will say wrong and point you in the right direction to the abuse page your looking for. Yes is tedious and that's how they get away with it.

If have the info can enter it here https://www.virustotal.com/ and nothing much will get done other than marking the site.

Your best bet is the firewall logs , get the numerical address or find the address then the abuse address copy paste info from your logs.

Since had this issue suggest https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-caused-malware just to make sure. If anything found please save the log and post it in the anti-malware site of your choice. Note do not post in more than 1 site.

As said, it is not easy to do but if are convicted to do so you do help others.

Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.
