I just updated to Firefox Quantum (57.0) and the font sizes in the menu bar and the bookmarks toolbar have gotten small. One suggestions was to download an add-on called Theme Font & Size Changer but this is not compatible with Firefox Quantum. So, apart from buying a very very large magnifying glass, what do I have to do to increase the font sizes? When will this add-on be available for Quantum? Thanks

Hi, you can increase the font size natively from the options menu like so: http://i.imgur.com/wwjPHfM.png

You will find this under the 'General' tab in about:preferences.

Bring back the Theme font and Size Changer extension!!

Thanks for the suggestion Mkil but changing the font size there doesn't change the tool bar and menu fonts. Before I used an add on but I couldn't find one that is compatible with Quantum.

I also have this problem now. Will they bring back Theme Font & Size Changer soon? It helps me make the tabs & menu larger so I can see it. On my computer the way it is now, is "okay", not great, but on my laptop the print is very tiny & I mean VERY tiny. I really need this add on or a new add on to replace it, that does the same thing. PLEASE!

'I just did the same thing, got the same old add on that does not work. Please also send me a link to get the correct version. '

I found an update for Theme Font and Size Changer version 62 and it uploaded to my Firefox 57 but it does not appear to have any ability to change font size or style, just background color and font color and those don't seem to work.

Here's where you should be able to download Theme Font & Size Changer :

Thanks but it still downloads the old non- working version despite what the note says on the download.

Thanks. That is the same updated one I got from the Add-on Manager. It works great for changing the background color and the font color but doesn't seem to have any tools for changing font size.

Well, folks :   contact the developer, Baris Derrin - looks like he's got some explaining to do ......

Same here. I sent an email to the developer. Let's see if he responds.

Having the same problem. Firefox should be able to provide a font size selection for the menu. You are super at every thing else. Please. I can't see the menus.

After hunting around for the last few days I found a solution to our font size problems. Go to about:config then go to layout.css.devPixelsPerPx. Mine was set at 1.3 so I reset it to 1.9 and now I can read the menu and bookmark toolbars. Unfortunately, I don't know how to change the font but at least I can read it now.

Thanks. Have tried this and, as you said, it does make the font larger. Too bad we can't change the font style/color as well, unless someone else knows how to do this??

Thanks - that does work! Mine was set to -1 !!!! Why would it do that? Sheesh. I found 1.25 was perfect for me.

I just switched browsers to Waterfox today and downloaded the previous version of Theme Font & Size Changer (version 56) and it works great with Waterfox. In fact, Waterfox is just like the old Firefox, I much prefer it and it seems faster than Quantum.

I noticed the same thing. After finally figuring out that that Quantum CAN'T be fixed because of how it's built, I switched to Waterfox and found it's everything I wanted Firefox to do and it IS quite a bit faster. Since they're supposed to use the same source, I don't understand why it works so much better than the latest and (not) greatest effort for Firefox.
