Is this all the time, or just with that one picture? It might be the picture itself was taken badly.
Please provide public link(s) (no password) that we can check out. No Personal Information Please !
Happens all the time in Firefox but copy the URL over to Internet explorer and it shows in its entirety. I just like and trust Firefox more.
Thanks for your reply and help.
The link loads fine for me.
Load the web page. Then, to reload the page bypassing the cache and force a fresh retrieval; Ctrl+Shift+R (Mac=Command+Shift+R)
Were you on this page, and then you clicked a photo?
The image overlay does not display well at your current zoom level or window size. If you cannot make the window wider, try reducing the zoom by one or two clicks (hold down the Ctrl key and tap the - key once or twice) until you get two columns of thumbnail images and the large image comes back up into view. Once you are done viewing images, you can restore the default zoom level by holding down Ctrl and tapping 0 or clicking the zoom percentage shown in the address bar, or enlarge as desired by holding down the Ctrl key and tapping the + key.
The computed screen width seems to be around 1400px to make this work properly. The Inspector shows 1366.67px for the screenshot I posted.
Hi How do I make this adjustment? Thanks
Hi Bradvickery1, if your window is already as large as it can get, you can reduce the zoom to show more content in the window. Please see my earlier reply.
jscher2000 Thanks. I was pressing the alt key too. Can I make this setting permanent or is it by leaving it as is?
Hi Bradvickery1, Firefox usually remembers the zoom level on a site-by-site basis. So it should work automatically.
If that isn't working, there are few different possible explanations, depending on the behavior you're seeing:
- Zoom remembered on a tab-by-tab basis rather than site-by-site (setting was changed, either browser.zoom.siteSpecific => false or privacy.resistFingerprinting => true)
- Zoom level preference lost at shutdown (Firefox may be set to clear history when it closes, including the "Site Preferences" category)
