How can automatic BCCing be turned off?

When I hit SEND, the TO preceding the single email address I'm attempting to communicate with turns instantly to BCC. I suspect this diverts my email for some of my contacts to JUNK folders. Where do I go to turn off this auto feature? Once turned off, I'll have a better chance of trouble-shooting the non-receipt of emails by some of my contacts.

changing all mail to BCC is not a Thunderbird feature. Did you install an add-on to do that?
