firefox 58 fails to start on windows 10
Hi
I'm using corporate laptop that's running windows 10. Versio 1709 os build 16299.125 if that matters. The laptop is managed by corporate it and has e.g. virus protection sw installed. I have no control over it.
Firefox 57.0.4 works fine.
Firefox 58 (latest version) does not start. There are no error messages, no splash screen or anything. The firefox process does show up in task manager. If i try to start the firefox second time there will be 2 processes in task manager, 3rd time 3 processes etc. No error like "firefox is aleeady running" etc.
Starting in safe mode (holding down shift) has no effect. Deleting the profile and uninstalling firefox has no effect. If I install 57.0.4 over 58 the firefox starts to work again. But as soon as I upgrade to 58 firefox does not start. I have tried upgrade via automatic upgrade tool and manual download. No difference. I have tried the instructions on "troubleshoot and diagnose firefox problems" page. They did not have any effect.
What could I try next? I am forced to use windows in work but Im not very used to it and do not have windows troubleshooting skills.
Thanks

Some problems occur when your Internet security program was set to trust the previous version of Firefox, but no longer recognizes your updated version as trusted. Now how to fix the problem: To allow Firefox to connect to the Internet again;
- Make sure your Internet security software is up-to-date (i.e. you are running the latest version).
- Remove Firefox from your program's list of trusted or recognized programs. For detailed instructions, see
