How-To Guide for how to Use Address Book
Is there a How-To Guide for how the Thunderbird Address Book works?
A while back I converted from Eudora to Thunderbird and I now have a complicated list of Address Books on the left-hand side of my Address Book screen. Some seem to be duplicates of others: The primary listing of the Books shows a blue box to the left of the name. Most of the names are ones I named myself, but a couple of them are a five digit number that I have no idea where they came from. One of those five digit books (64687) has an "arrow" pointing to the right which when clicked on, opens a sub-folder with another list of Address Books with a "two-body" icon on the left. The "two-body" sub-books seem to be duplicates of some the blue-box books. If so, I'd like to consolidate and minimize the number of books on my lists, but I don't want to make any mistakes and delete something I shouldn't.
So that's what I'm trying to do... any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thank You!!!

your "two body" icons are address lists or mailing lists.

Note that mailing list entries are not "contacts" as such, only a visual clone of the real contact in a real address book.

Matt,
Thanks for your quick reply! You've given me a lot to look at, which I will! I'll get back to you as I go through the links you sent to me.
Thanks again!
