I have an older JSON file from 2014 and NO profile file... only the JSON file. When I attempt to perform a restore from within Firefox's latest version v59.0.2 no bookmarks appear. I've been through all the related post's and did not see this specific issue. Little help?

Are you sure this is a JSON backup and not an HTML backup?

A JSON backup from so long ago may not be compatible with the current Firefox release.

Which Firefox version created this backup (is there a Firefox version from 2014 that created JSON backups)?
