exporting custom address book to Evite

I have created an custom address book in Thunderbird to use Evite for a birthday party. I go to tool and choose export while clicking on the name of the new birthday address book, bit it only creates a cvs file for my entire address booK. Not good

Can we assume that this Evite is a mailing list you created inside one of your address books, not an address book because if it is an address book and you select it to export it is going to export the entire address book. That is what is expected to happen.

If you are trying to export just the mailing list you would expand the address book folders in the directory pane on the left side of the address book window, select the Evite mailing list folder and then go through the export operation.
