It really is not the wisest thing to be storing banking info in auto fill. https://www.howtogeek.com/338209/you-should-turn-off-autofill-in-your-password-manager/ As well there numerous other reasons such as the encryption, how many bytes compared to a dedicated Password Manager or better yet again none for banking.
i did not actually get what u mean, i have a master pass on mozilla, kaspersky with enabled hardware virtuallization and aplication control... why not to save banking info .. when u enter the bank 10,15 times a day u will maybe understand why i need this saved. My other banking sites allow firefoks to fill when i click on the user box but not this website. Why so much paranoia about this question... all the banks has also protection like login ip check and so on. I just needed to know is this done by the website and restricting mozzila to fill it or mozilla has a problem with the site itself :)
HI, your choice, do not have to defend it. Was just providing info. So is the page still offering you the option to save your info ?
Try Firefox Safe Mode to TEST & see if the problem goes away. Firefox Safe Mode is a troubleshooting mode that temporarily turns off hardware acceleration, resets some settings, and disables add-ons (extensions and themes).
If Firefox is open, you can restart in Firefox Safe Mode from the Help menu:
- Click the menu button , click Help and select Restart with Add-ons Disabled.
If Firefox is not running, you can start Firefox in Safe Mode as follows:
- On Windows: Hold the Shift key when you open the Firefox desktop or Start menu shortcut.
- On Mac: Hold the option key while starting Firefox.
- On Linux: Quit Firefox, go to your Terminal and run firefox -safe-mode
(you may need to specify the Firefox installation path e.g. /usr/lib/firefox)
When the Firefox Safe Mode window appears, select "Start in Safe Mode".
If the issue is not present in Firefox Safe Mode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, theme, or hardware acceleration. Please follow the steps in the Troubleshoot extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems article to find the cause.
To exit Firefox Safe Mode, just close Firefox and wait a few seconds before opening Firefox for normal use again.
When you figure out what's causing your issues, please let us know. It might help others with the same problem.
Do know that the issue could be your Kaspersky. There is security software like Avast/AVG, Kaspersky, BitDefender and ESET that intercept secure connections and send their own certificate. If you are running any of the above software please check their community forum for a work around to apply settings.
yes, it does
will ask tomorrow kaspersky ... it is strange thats the only bank site that wont allow me to fill it on userbox click ..
What where the results of the Safe Mode and Did you make a Attempt with Kaspersky turned off ?
Please Copy/Paste about:preferences#privacy to the Address Bar and Enter. Right at the top Under Forms is Ask to save logins and passwords for websites still checked, is it greyed out ?
