As part of automated testing for a webapp I'm working on, I launch a new instance of Firefox (that is, one with a clean new profile) to run tests in. I've noticed that when I run tests using Firefox Developer, the browser opens with two tabs instead of one. One tab for my tests (expected), and one tab with the "Firefox Privacy Notice" (unexpected). Compared to using Firefox Non-Developer, which correctly launches one tab with my tests. Is there a way to make Firefox Developer work like normal Firefox in this way?

Note: I launch the browser tests using Karma and Karma-Firefox-Launcher

Hi, normal Firefox launches 2 now also. As Firefox is used all over the world it must state it's privacy policy to meet EU (Europe) Standards.

It is because your using a clean profile every time. Unless leave something in the Profile from each test will get the Privacy Notice again, as to what to leave I do not know as are Volunteers.
