"When firefox starts" vs Homepage button behaviour lost in Firefox 61?

more options

Hello.

I recently upgraded linux and firefox is now in version 61 (i don't recall my previous version)

There was a distinction before between "When firefox starts" and "when i press my homebutton" but know these two are combined in the settings...

I'd like: When firefox starts (also to apply with every new window) -> blank page When i press the homebutton -> Open my several home pages.

How can i do this with this version of Firefox?

Thanks in advance.

Could you try this:

(1) In a new tab, type or paste about:config in the address bar and press Enter/Return. Click the button promising to be careful or accepting the risk.

(2) In the search box above the list, type or paste startup and pause while the list is filtered

(3) Double-click the browser.startup.page preference to display a dialog where you can enter the desired value:

  • 0 = blank page
  • 1 = home page (default)
  • 2 = last visited page
  • 3 = restore previous session

Does changing this value to 0 work for you?
