I click on the icon as I always have. I see a spinning wheel and then it just disappears. I have uninstalled and reinstalled 4 times. No change. I try running as administrator, again receive a spinning wheel which then disappears and no change. I'm using an HP laptop with Windows 7. The browser was working just fine 2 days ago (Saturday, Sept 22).

Hi, what Security Software are you running ? McAfee ? If so it took files out 2 days ago on people.

Please get a copy of your Profile and stash it someplace safe.

Please boot into Safe Mode with Networking : https://support.hp.com/ca-en/document/c01835750

See if you can uninstall it now. If not please try with this :

Reinstall with Current Release Firefox 62.0.2 with a Full Version Installer

Yes, this is my work computer and they are running McAfee. How do I get a copy of my profile?

Disregard my question about the Profile. I figured out how to back this up. I followed the steps to enter safe mode and uninstalled. I used the link to install again. I followed the steps to install and got so far as to "Launch Firefox". I click launch, get the spinning wheel, and then nothing.
