Why does Chrome and Firefox Android display Google results of word definitions differently?

Searching definitions of words in Firefox displays results with fewer details and does not have the pronunciation speaker icon. This ultimately forces me to use Chrome than Firefox. Is it because of WebKit protocols? To me this seems like Google's anti-competition tactics.

Right. This page is poorer for browsers different than blink/webkit. You can try out this extension, which changes the useragent to google's and makes google to send you the rich version of the page.
