I am moving from Shaw to Telus when Telus adds their web site will I still retain my Addresses book and Folders that are in Firefox?

I have changed from Shaw to Telus, the Telus Tech is unsure if I will loose all my folders and address book within the Mozilla Thunderbird when she changes the Server Settings?

My Guru explained if I create a 2nd New Account and set up it up with Telus I will not delete the folders, but have a second account. Wonderfull especially on The Bard's Birthday. Robbie Burns

My Guru explained if I create a 2nd New Account and set up it up with Telus I will not delete the folders, but have a second account. Wonderfull especially on The Bard's Birthday. Robbie Burns

If your Shaw account is IMAP, those mail folders will disappear when the account is deactivated, so copy them to a subfolder of Local Folders if you need a permanent record.
