After activating "Zoom" as an extension in Firefox, all of a sudden I had a split screen. When opening Firefox or any other programs or files, they open as a Maximized screen and there is no minimize button or if there is it completly minimizes down to the task bar and my windows menu comes up. I want my old windows environment back.....There is no home screen any more with apps and files on it. And, I can't right click a blank spot.

Try to start Firefox in Safe Mode to see if that works.

  • Windows: hold down the Shift key while starting Firefox
  • Mac: hold down the Options key while starting Firefox

It is actually a windows 10 problem now. My desk top disappeared with my apps and documents on it. Now Windows comes up with the menu.....all the little windows of stuff I never use. How can I get the default desk top back with my documents & program Icons?
