The latest version of Firefox on my Pixel 2 device is a battery drain. It has consumed 17 of my full chargw if battery in 8 hrs of standby and 1 minute of usage. Is anyone else having a similar situation?

You posted this twice. Perhaps your browser is doing everything else twice too?

If by 17 you mean 17% that means your phone will still last over 2 days on a single charge.
