I "Refreshed" FireFox and now I have no bookmarks and no history

The next time I opened FF I found no bookmark toolbar and no history. I note as I move from one site to another, no history is created. Maybe after I restart FF?

Look on your desktop. Do you see a folder called; Old Firefox? Look inside. Look for the folder with the latest creation date.
