"Remember browsing and download history" and bookmark favicons
Greetings.
I have been experiencing a problem saving bookmarks with favicons. I am able to save bookmarks but unable to save favicons with them. This only happens when the option "Remember browsing and download history" is OFF. Thus to save a bookmark with favicon I do need to ON the above option. Consequently if the option "Remember browsing and download history-Browsing & Download History" is ON then these favicons will be deleted when close Firefox.
A few examples of websites affecting are, https://www.alfaromeo.com.au/ https://flagfox.net/index.php https://www.qbittorrent.org/
It seems only some sites are affected and in my bookmarks they are 14 of them. I would like to know how to keep favicons permanently and make Firefox not to remember browsing and download history plus let it clean browsing & download history when Firefox closes.
Windows 10 18363.836/Firefox 76.0.1

Does the missing Favicon load when you use the new bookmark for the first time?
That is when the Favicon is saved when using {Ctrl + D} and any of the many menu items for saving a new bookmark.
When you use the "drag'n'drop" undocumented feature the Favicon will be saved immediately; that is what I have been using for over 10 years now, since Firefox 3.0 when "Places" landed in Firefox.
Thank you very much for your reply, the-edmeister.
Yes it does load a favicon when I click a bookmark provided "Remember browsing and download history" option is ON, but the favion will be deleted when Clear history when Firefox closes-Remember browsing and download history-Browsing & Download History is ON.
Can I assume this is a bug? Anyone else experiencing this?

I've been experimenting for a while and there's a solution for my problem.
Delete the affecting bookmark, restart, then bookmark again then click the bookmark to load the page again to show a favicon.
It seems if I do this then the "Remember browsing and download history" option can be ON or OFF, and the "Clear history when Firefox closes" does not delete favicons.
