My computer is subject to prying eyes. Nothing I can do. Better if I assume emails will be checked. I have master password. But is there any way of encrypting Thunderbird so if emails are copied they are meaningless?

I know Thunderbird can encrypt emails it sends/receives but what about encrypting all emails?

Robert

Password-protect your Windows 10 user account. This won't matter much if others have admin access to Windows. You could relocate your Thunderbird profile folder to a separate partition or drive which you can encrypt/lock using Bitlocker or Veracrypt. The drive could be external or internal. If you'd rather not mess with partitioning, you could use a Veracrypt container instead and store your Thunderbird profile folder in there.
