If is not possible to downgrade to the old version as to do so would mean that you do not get important security and stability updates.

I have been happy with Mozilla for more than 20 years, and I never expected this kick in the a**e. Much as I dislike Google, I have started migrating to chrome, but the new firefox is total garbage for me
