I have a new computer because my last one got fried in a lightning storm and won't even turn one. I lost all my bookmarks. Is there a way to recover them without trying to find them on my old maybe destroyed hard drive? The last time I had to change computers only about 6 months ago, the bookmarks were there when I installed firefox.

Unless you have files backed up somewhere . . . .

You could take the old hard drive to a tech and see if it was damaged.

Were you possibly using Sync to sync bookmarks ?

Note that you lose data stored on the Sync server if you do not remember the password of the Firefox Account and would have to reset the password.
