Since upgrading to 78.3.1 my Thunderbird can send but will not download or copy sent emails to the sent folder.

Could it be some security setting I am not aware of?

The only error message I get is "Your message was sent but a copy was not placed in your sent folder (Sent) due to network or file access errors."

I am on a Debian Buster system

You may be facing the problem of the provider's security not being compatible with the new requirements of TB 78:

That would explain why the account works in 68 but not in 78.

I have IMAP accounts from 3 different ISPs 2 are working fine and one is showing this send but not receive. I know the accounts are fine because they all work OK on my laptop which is Thunderbird 68.12.0 I am reluctant to raise a ticket with the ISP when the accounts work fine on my laptop, the only problem is my deaktop running 78.3.1
