I have had Thunderbird on my laptop of a couple of years. I recently bought a desktop and installed it on that one now too. I want to be able to receive all emails from my gmail account into both computers. Currently some emails will come into one computer and some into the other. I also want to my laptop to upload any emails I send from my desktop, and visa-versa. How can I make my Thunderstar and Gmail do this?

Configure Gmail for IMAP access on both computers. See https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/difference-between-imap-and-pop3 and Thunderbird and Gmail
