With Chrome I can simply click the lower right hand edit pen, be redirected to "Customize this page" and select whatever background theme I want. It seems I can't do this with Firefox? Or I don't know how and am stuck with a very boring, dull solid grey background color. Redirecting to Themes I see I can change the browser's appearance from various categories, but the background color never changes and remains the same dull grey. Any way to change the background color?

Hi, there's plenty of addons for changing the new tab page, for instance Tabliss, New Tab Override, etc.

Thank you. I appreciate your support. I find Tabliss and New Tab Override, however, to be counterintuitive, more or less useless, with next to no support. I don't understand why Firefox can't simply code a feature that makes it simple to select a variety of attractive backgrounds, rather than fiddling with 3rd party apps. I'm sure there are very bright coders in the community that could do it. It would encourage more users to switch from Chrome.
