After the update to 78.10.1 the images in my emails started flashing off and on. This does not happen safe mode and I have no addons installed. At present the only option I have is to run Thunderbird in safe mode. Hope someone can help me.

In Options/General/Indexing, uncheck the box for hardware acceleration, restart TB, and see if the problem remains. Acceleration is one feature that is disabled in safe mode.
