whenever i want to search something, if i don't put @ (ex: @Google) it will assume that i am typing in a URL. for example, if i type "cats" in the search bar, it will direct me to www.cats.com instead of searching up cats. because of this i have to put @google before the search term and this is extremely annoying. how do i disable this?

If you include a dot in the search term (example: seashore.com instead of just seashore), the browser assumes the text is a web address. Do not use dots in the search.
