The most useful search in Thunderbird for me is the right click option to "search messages" in the left "folders" pane of Thunderbird. I use this many times every day. There is one small tweak that would make this work much better for me and this is if by default the search was for "sender" rather than "subject". I have looked under advanced preferences and I can't see anything that looks like a tweak for this under there. I have to solve the problem by clicking subject and bringing up "from" on the drop down list. It would be nice if I could have from come up by default instead of "subject". Thanks much in advance.
