I recently installed Thunderbird and tried connecting all of my email accounts, but could only get gmail to work properly. Is there a list of compatible email providers that I can look up? I am trying to connect a comcast, icloud, and outlook account.

Thunderbird is a very user-friendly mail program and is open to most email providers that are currently offered.

TB works with most providers that support POP, IMAP and SMTP.

Comcast settings are here. Make sure to allow 3rd-party access.

Hotmail/outlook.com etc. settings are shown here.

I believe iCloud also works, but the setup is a bit more involved (2-factor authentication, app password).
