Copy paste formatting between seperate windows
When copying text from a website in one Firefox window, and pasting in a separate Fire Fox window, formatting issues occur
- Running on Windows 10
- Firefox, windows/tabs not in container
- Pasting text from Coursera to Notion.so fails to start text on current line and properly format.
- Works on Microsoft Edge with no issue, so problem is isolated to Firefox
Attaching images for clarification and comparison. (sorry for quality, quick MS.paint job)
- after further testing, it appears that copying from Coursera in Firefox to Microsoft Edge also has the same formatting issue, so it seems to be a compatibility situation between Firefox copying from Coursera specifically, and not an issue with pasting to Notion.so
- appreciate the fact that there are multiple third party factors at play, but the issue is killing my productivity so any help is appreciated!

Thanks for taking the time to respond. Appreciate the tip, I had not tried that. Unfortunately the issue persists in Troubleshoot Mode.
Note that Firefox only copies inline style rules (style attribute) to the clipboard if you paste the text in an HTML capable editor, Firefox doesn't copy rules from a style sheet.

Appreciate the reply. I definitely can't claim to 100% understand everything in that resource, but if I'm understanding correctly, basically what's happening is that Coursera's transcriptions are likely in a style sheet format that conflicts with Firefox copy option, but Edge does it differently, so that's why it works in Edge and not Firefox?
Good enough info for me if I'm understand that right. Figured I would clarify in case it could help other users at some point!
