Maybe a week ago TB stopped letting me cc to myself, something I have always done in the past.

Either at the same time or more recently TB stopped letting me send email to myself, i.e. with my email address in the "to" line.

TB gets my email from Outlook. If I send email from the Outlook interface on the web and addressed to myself or cc'ed to myself it comes through to TB no problem.

I made no changes other than getting the latest version of TB: 115.4.2 (64-bit)

Followup characterization: When I responded to an incoming email from someone else I got the cc to myself.

But really, I think I'm about done with Thunderbird. My website provider uses Outlook so my TB is on top of that. Although I'd prefer not to be tied to it, Outlook works just fine. I liked the idea of TB and appreciate all the volunteer help but this is not the only issue I've had.

And why did the new TB change my display columns? Yes I just had to click the selection to go back but why should I have to figure that out?

I just need to get all my history moved and then I'm out of here.
