Objective site address found in history file in my son's Mac pro but he confirm that he did not surf those site. As a consequence he was reprimanded by his school principal. Is that possible?
My child's school found a couple of porn site in his firefox history file. But he claimed he did not surf those site and it could be pop-ups, when he was playing with the game site, etc. The school claim that pop-ups will not leave site address in history file and conclude that he had surfed porn site. He is thirteen years old and was using a Mac Pro.
Is it possible that the porn address got into his history file without him surfing the porn site? I need to proof his innocent if he has been wrongly punished.
Best regards K Tan

The URLs of pop-ups are logged in the history file.
Chris, Can you confirm that it is the case even if you do not click on the pop ups?
Thanks for your answer.
