how to get the 'hover' message on my mouse working again
When using Firefox and putting my mouse cursor over an object such as a picture or a line of text (even text that isn't a link), instead of showing a 'message' (or description) below the cursor as to the name of the photo / text, etc, it shows up a small rectangular box which doesn't have any description of the item which my cursor is pointing to.
On the seldome occasion that I use Internet Explorer and put the mouse pointer over an item, the description of the item comes up normally.
I'm running Windows 7, and use Firefox 3.6.13 (and IE 8). Strangely, I'm pretty sure no such issues existed on Firefox when I first started using the Toshiba laptop (Tecra A11) model.
NOTE - I have contacted Logitech Tech Support, and I've since upgraded to the most recent SetPoint software, but this hasn't fixed the issue for Firefox browsing.
Any help would be appreciated. Crackas

Issues with tooltips not working properly have been reported to be caused by the Google Toolbar (Tools > Add-ons > Extensions)
You can check if there is an update available that fixes that issue.
You can try to uninstall and reinstall the latest Google Toolbar.

Thanks Co-rel,
I've uninstalled the toolbar, and it seems to have resolved the issue.
Cheers.
You're welcome.
