I had several tabs open in Firefox. They were closed and not saved by another person who was using my computer, who inadvertently closed the program. Is there any way to retrieve all the tabs I had open? (Some of them had been open for days, or even weeks, rather than recently opened.)

Use History -> Show all History

That will open the library with the history showing, you should be able to find the tabs you had opened relatively easily. (assuming you have used the default option that saves history) There is also a search option you may use.

The recently closed tabs is only relevant to the current browser session. You may find the bookmarks system useful for saving tabs that you use frequently or may want to find again.
