firefox blocks my emails to my lawyer how do I resolve this?

I tried composing an email through my gmail account and when I sent it I got a message that the email was not sent and blocked why? It was to my lawyer

Firefox wouldn't block an email from being sent. It doesn't have an email functions, it only allows access to a web mail service or portal.
