I just discovered that if you right click the back arrow button, a list of the previous sites that you visited are listed. You click on the one you want to go there.

Thanks for the reply for how to access this, but I'd still rather have the drop down next to the back/forward arrows. I don't have a right button on my MacBook Pro, so it's a two-handed Control-Click to get there now, which is much less convenient.

Missing the right mouse button sounds more like a hardware defect to me. Excellent answer @jgregory1.

You can also get the drop-down list by holding down the left button until the list appears.

I would like the drop down arrows returned for the page back/forward in FF4. It's very annoying to have them missing and I don't want to have to right click or hold my left mouse button down.

It sounds like a bad design to me and one that makes me wish I hadn't updated from my old version. Hope they fix this huge mistake.

I think the old addage, 'LEAVE THINGS ALONE!!!!' applies here. Stop meddling with the interface!

or (PC users) right-click the back button to bring up the menu

or (PC and Mac users) hold (left) click and the menu will pop back too.
