Google maps - search for address or business doens't work in 3.6.16

Running 3.6.16 firefox. Installed new firefox upgrade and maps.google.com no longer works. Site appears, but when type anything into search - an address, a city/state, business such as restaurant near <zip code or address or cross streets> shows no change in the display but shows "done" as status (at bottom). No problem using internet explorer.

Hi,

I've had the same problem. Than I clicked another link to google maps. That worked. So I reduced the query paramter list. It works with http://maps.google.de/?om=1 (german version)
