I just spent a half hour updating my linked in site (new position) and it remained exactly the same, offering this "explanation": The server encountered an internal error () that prevented it from fulfilling this request. Apache Tomcat/6.0.24

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.

"Clear the Cache":

  • Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"

"Remove the Cookies" from sites causing problems:

  • Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
