A month i allowed an auto firefox update and now i can't access the internet.
When i downloaded the update, there was a notice that a program or something would not work (i didn't think it was important). I cannot access the internet with internet explorer either. I restored my computer to a date prior to the issue to no effect. I think i rec'd. a note that the wlan card stopped working.

A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process.
