I want to know the cost of firefox, also can it coexist with IE (both on the same system?) I am running XP Pro with SP3 and IE7. Also, I use a dial-up Internet connection!

Firefox is free, you do not have to pay for it to use the Firefox program.

Be sure to download and install Firefox only from the official Mozilla site.

Firefox is an opensource project of Mozilla Foundation, you must not pay a single penny for it, you're not meant to pay, if someone asks so, it is for sure a scam against you. Make sure to download it from the official website: http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/

Never trust those who ask you money on 100% free and opensource softwares.

No worry for IE, they work along with no problem, just you have to set a default browser; it's up to you to choose which.
