I've a Sony Xperia Play: Personas theme doesn't display.
I've a Sony Xperia Play. I installed Personas (addons page didn't say it was incompatible with my browser), restarted Firefox, selected a couple of Personas theme, "wore" one of it & restarted browser. However I don't see the theme being applied. Please help. Thanks.

When you went to the Personas site to "try on" personas, were you able to see them being applied then? Did you press the green "Keep It" button to save the persona after trying it?
Personas should be visible in the mobile Firefox's sidebars and location bar, which you can find by scrolling past the top, left, or right edges of the page.
Tested this on an R800i Xperia Play. I am not able to reproduce the problem.
Hi, mbrubeck and kbrosnan. Thanks for your replies. When I tested the Personas on my Firefox mobile, there was nothing visible for me to see, unlike the desktop version, where, when I hover over a particular theme, it temporarily "wears" that theme for me to preview. Anyway, on the mobile version, I did click on "Keep It" to save it and restarted firefox. Nothing showed up. Not even when I restarted the phone.
FYI, I've installed the following addons in Firefox: Last Pass, Reading List, Personas, Quit Fennec, Proxy Mobile (which I had installed & then uninstalled because it was causing some connection problems). All are working and its icons are visible in either the sidebars or context menus except for Personas.
The phone has been updated to Android 2.3.3.
I'm also running the Dolphin HD browser on the phone and its add0n theme works perfectly. What am I doing wrong, please?
Thanks.
After tinkering around with Firefox, I found out what the problem was.
Personas cannot be downloaded and installed directly from the Add-ons page when using the Add-ons button in the context menu. When I click "Add to Firefox" button, it would install and ask me to restart Firefox. However, the Personas themes won't work via that page even after "wearing" a selected theme. (However, other add-ons work via this method of installation.)
However, if I click on "Go To Page" (from the Add-ons page earlier), then click on "Add to Firefox" from the Mobile Add-ons web page directly, it'll prompt me with a security message before downloading & prompt me again before installing Personas. Then installing/ wearing a theme is not a problem anymore.
Thanks, mbrubeck and kbrosnan, once again, for your earlier replies. I don't know whether the problem on the Add-ons page (unable to install Personas directly) is unique to my phone or a common problem. If the latter, I hope the developers will get the problem resolved soon.
Cheers.
