What kind of videos give you problems?
Flash, Windows Media Player or QuickTime or another player?
Here is an example of a video I cannot play on Firefox but can play on IE: http://gawker.com/5835640/watch-google-describe-how-it-could-exploit-your-name
Thanks for your help
That is Flash.
You do have the Flash player installed according to your More system details list, so Flash should be working.
- Shockwave Flash 10.3 r183

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
- Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

Thanks. It was an add-on problem.
You're welcome
When using FIREFOX, I try to view videos sent to me by e-mail (mpg), and they only play a brief portion of the video. I also am unable to login to "linkd in" website through Firefox. I have no problem with either task if I am using Internet Explorer. Why?
