Printer Spits Out a Number of Blank Pages before Printing Just Page One of Multiple Pages

When I try to print a multiple page print out from a web site my printer (hp officejet 7130xi) spits out a number of blank or minimally printed on sheets of paper before finally printing the first page often with the heading missing. Any additional pages are scattered on the blank pages that were spit out. I've tried "resetting" printer_printer, etc. with no help. So I just uninstalled including preference and then reinstalled Firefox but still no change.

Still not working. It prints fine in IE. I followed the directions from Mozilla support but to no avail. At mozillazine they talked about bugs, many sounded very old, but I didn't understand what if anything to try. Thanks for your time.
