I accidentally checked something that makes all 8 tabs that WERE open, in that window, on that date, RE-OPEN every time I open a NEW window. How can I undo this feature?

I accidentally checked a feature that I want to undo. It asked if I wanted it to remember all the tabs when I closed the window. Now when I open a new window, all the same tabs that were open the first time, re-open again and again. I do not need to see these tabs anymore, but the computer/Firefox will not give me an option to stop this. I can't find how to stop this. Please help me. Thank you, Noel
