Save as PDF does not save the full width of the page. Is there a setting I need to tweak?

I was trying out cloud print, but found that the full width of the page on my Motorola XOOM was not printing. Turns out the pdf saved by "Save a PDF" itself does not save the far right of the page. I wonder if there is a setting that needs to be changed. I just noticed that the PDF only has a width that it thinks fits on a page and not what is on the screen.

Hi,

The Save as PDF feature does change the layout of the content to fit a page, so content that is in the left or right column of the screen will appear at the top and bottom of the PDF. The far right should be on the last page of the PDF.

Thanks for your comment. That is not the case. The PDF right edge stops where the right edge of the page in portrait orientation on the device ends. There is no second page.

Hi,

Sorry to hear this is the case, it sounds like a bug to me...and it has been reported in an existing bug. Here is the report, http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=640449

Thanks for reporting this here because the issue was 'not reproducible' in the bug evaluation. I have added a link to your support request, so hopefully it will get some traction.
