firefox7.0.1 on mac 10.6 snowbird goes to yahoo but then will not go to mail, "bad request" error

it will go to other yahoo links; auto,sports finance,etc. but not to mail. i switch to safari and it all works.

That issue can be caused by corrupted cookies.

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.

"Clear the Cache":

  • Firefox > Preferences > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"

"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

  • Firefox > Preferences > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
