my firefox default adress bar search engine keeps changing to damn yahoo and i did absoluteluy everything to change it and i can't please help

the "search settings plugin" might have gotten added. it will be there in your processes as "searchsettings.exe". Locate it and terminate it. This solved the problem for me.
